BREAST LIFTING
Breast Lift is a procedure performed to actuaslly lift the breasts which have a droopy look due to ageing, weight loss, pregnancy and breastfeeding. The surgery will restore the breasts back to their former firmness and form by removing excess skin caused by loss of elasticity.
There are several techniques used in in breast lift surgery. The right surgical technique will vary according to each patient and the preferred result. It involves making an incision around the areola down to the breast in order to remove excess skin and repositioning the nipples by moving them higher. The nipple size may sometimes need to be reduced for a more visually pleasing result.

If breasts have lost their volume, implants will be used to enhance them by combining a breast lift with the breast enlargement surgery. While a Breast Lift helps position breasts to a higher position, breast implants can restore their fullness. Patients tend to be extremely satisfied with their results as their breasts will be higher, perkier, and larger than they were before surgery.

About the Surgery
On the morning of your procedure, you will be picked up by your patient coordinator and transferred to the hospital where you will have a consultation with your surgeon. Afterwards, you will have medical tests to check your suitability for surgery and once confirmed the procedure will last 2-3 hours. You will spend the night at the hospital following your surgery.

You will be discharged from the hospital in the morning following a check-up by your surgeon. You will be transferred to your hotel where you will continue to rest. Altough you are advised to continue to rest, once you start feeling better you may go out to explore Istanbul on days 5 and 6.
You will have a final check-up by your surgeon on the day 7 and you will be ready to go back home after receiving instructions on aftercare. Your stitches do not need to be removed as they will dissolve by themselves. Breast Lift surgery lasts around 2 to 3 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. You may return to your daily activities in 7-10 days. You will be required to wear a support bra during this period.
