What is DHI?

DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) could be referred to as a micro-FUE and punches with diameter of 1mm or less are used to extract hairs individually, one by one from the donor area. This minimally invasive DHI extraction allows us to achieve high consistency and quality.
With FUE, follicles are implanted the same way, by making reception holes in the recipent area and placing the hair follicles into the holes, allowing a little less control over the angle, direction and depth.

With the DHI Technique each follicle is separately placed directly to the recipent area with the DHI implanter, the specially designed device for hair transplant and hairloss treatments. DHI implanter allows the specialist to control the depth, the direction and the angle as each graft is placed. The new hair does not fall, the grafts live longer and the result is very natural and no visible scars on the affected area.

Itinerary
You must be in Istanbul a day before your procedure, you'll be picked up at the airport by our driver and taken to your hotel.
On the morning of your HT procedure, you will be picked up by your patient coordinator and transferred to our clinic where you will meet our team. During the initial consultation, our specialist will examine your scalp and discuss your requirements and advise you on what results you may expect. Following the consultation, you will have medical tests to check your suitability for a hair transplant and once confirmed, the procedure will last around 6-8 hours. Our specialist will instruct you on how to care for your hair and afterwards you will be taken to your hotel to rest.
DHI is performed under painless local anaesthesia done by a new-tech pen device with microheads. You may return to your daily activities in just 1-2 days.
